ചെസ്സ് മത്സര നിയമങ്ങൾ
Chess Competition Rules

1. തൊട്ട കരു കളിക്കാൻ പറ്റുന്നതാണെങ്കിൽ നിർബന്ധമായും കളിക്കണം.
1. Piece touched must be played if it is playable.

2. എതിരാളിയുടെ കരുവിനെ തൊട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ സ്വന്തം കരു ഉപയോഗിച്ച് വെട്ടാൻ പറ്റുന്നതാണെങ്കിൽ നിർബന്ധമായും വെട്ടിയെടുക്കണം.
2. If the opponent’s piece is touched, it must be cut if it can be captured with one’s own piece.

3.ഒരു കരു എടുത്ത് ഒരു squareൽ വച്ച് കൈ എടുത്താൽ അത് legal ആയ നീക്കമാണെങ്കിൽ പിന്നീട് മാറ്റി വയ്ക്കാൻ സാദ്ധ്യമല്ല.
3. If you take a piece and take your hand in a square, if it is a legal move, it is not possible to change it later.

4. സ്ഥാനം തെറ്റി ഇരിക്കുന്ന നമ്മുടെ ഒരു കരുവിനെ ശരിയായ കളത്തിൽ വയ്ക്കണമെങ്കിൽ, നമ്മുടെ സമയത്ത് I adjust എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു കൊണ്ട് ശരിയാക്കണം. എതിരാളിയുടെ സമയത്ത് adjust ചെയ്യാൻ പാടില്ല.
4. If we want to put one of our misplaced piece in the right field, we should correct it by saying “I adjust”. Do not adjust during opponent’s time.

5. രണ്ട് illegal നീക്കങ്ങൾ നടത്തിയാൽ ആ കളി തോൽക്കുന്നതാണ്. ആദ്യത്തെ illegal നീക്കം arbiterനെ വിളിച്ച് അറിയിക്കുമ്പോൾ നീക്കം നടത്തിയ ആളുടെ എതിരാളിക്ക് 2 minute സമയം കൂടുതൽ കൊടുക്കും. Clock ഉള്ള ബോർഡിൽ കരുനീക്കം നടത്തിയതിനു ശേഷം clock press ചെയ്താൽ മാത്രമേ അത് illegal നീക്കം ആവുകയുള്ളൂ.
5. If two illegal moves are made, that game is lost. When the first illegal move is reported to the arbiter, the opponent of the person who made the move will be given 2 minutes more time. Only if you press the clock after making a move on the board with the clock, it will be removed illegally.

6. രണ്ട് കൈ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ചെസ്സ് ബോർഡിൽ നീക്കം നടത്തിയാൽ അത് illegal ആയിരിക്കും. (Castling, കരുക്കൾ വെട്ടി മാറ്റൽ, പൊൺ പ്രൊമോഷൻ അടക്കമുള്ള ഏത് നീക്കത്തിനും ഒരു കൈ മാത്രമേ ഉപയോഗിക്കാവൂ.
6. It is illegal to make a move on the chess board with two hands. (Only one hand should be used for any movement including Castling, piece cutting, Pown promotion etc.

7. Check ഉള്ള സമയത്ത് രാജാവല്ലാത്ത ഒരു കരുവിനെ തൊട്ടു കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ ആ കരു ഉപയോഗിച്ച് check തടയുവാൻ സാധിക്കുമെങ്കിൽ നിർബന്ധമായും അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യണം.
7. If you touch a non-king piece during the check, if you can block the check with that piece, you must do so.

8. കാലാൾ എട്ടാമത്തെ കളത്തിലെത്തിയതിനു ശേഷം മറ്റൊരു കരു ആയി promote ചെയ്യാതെ ക്ലോക്ക് press ചെയ്താൽ അത് illegal നീക്കം ആയി കണക്കാക്കും.
8. If the pawn reaches the 8th square and presses the clock without promoting it to another piece, it will be considered an illegal move.

9. Castling നടത്തുമ്പോൾ രാജാവിനെ വച്ചതിനു ശേഷമാണ് റൂക്കിന്റെ നീക്കം നടത്തേണ്ടത്.
9. When castling, the rook should be moved after placing the king.

10. മൊബൈൽ ഫോൺ സ്വിച്ച് ഓഫ് ചെയ്യണം. കളിക്കിടയിൽ മൊബൈൽ എടുത്തു നോക്കുകയോ മൊബൈൽ അലർട്ട് ആവുകയോ ചെയ്താൽ ആ കളിയിലെ പോയന്റ് നഷ്ടമാകുന്നതാണ്.
10. Mobile phone should be switched off. If you look at your mobile during the game or if you get a mobile alert, you will lose the point in that game.

11. രാജാവ് മാത്രമാകുമ്പോൾ 50 നീക്കത്തിനുള്ളിൽ ചെക്ക് മേറ്റ് ആക്കാൻ സാധിച്ചില്ലെങ്കിൽ ആ കളി സമനില ആകുന്നതാണ്. കരുക്കളെ വെട്ടലോ പോൺ നീക്കമോ ഇല്ലാതെ 50 നീക്കം കളിച്ചാലും സമനിലയാണ്.
11. If its king alone and cannot make a checkmate within 50 moves, the game is considered as a draw. Even playing 50 moves without cutting pawns or moving pawns is a draw.

12. ഒരു പൊസിഷനിൽ legal ആയ ഒരു നീക്കവും ഇല്ലാത്ത സാഹചര്യത്തിന് stale mate എന്നു പറയുന്നു. ആ കളി സമനിലയായി കണക്കാക്കും.
12. A situation in which there is no legal move in a position is called stale mate. That game will be considered a draw.

13. ചെസ്സ് മത്സര നിയമങ്ങളിൽ ചിലതു മാത്രമാണ് ഇവിടെ പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഫിഡെ നിയമങ്ങൾക്കനുസൃതമായി ആർബിറ്റർ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്ന തീരുമാനം അന്തിമമായിരിക്കും.
13.Here are just a few of the chess match rules. The decision reached by the arbitrator in accordance with the FIDE Rules shall be final.
